What is Period Dignity?
At Period Dignity by Grace & Green, we’re on a mission to ensure all workplaces and public spaces provide access to free period products.
Period dignity focuses on three areas:
Access – making sure everyone has the products they need to manage their periods safely and sustainably
Awareness – improving understanding of menstrual health through education
Acceptance – removing any stigma and shame around periods
Supporting 300+ Organisations
We are already working with businesses, the public sector and educational institutions that are dedicated to dignity.
Why provide free period care?

85% of UK working women feel stress or anxiety managing their period at work.
(Water Aid, 2022)

Only 3% of female employees felt their workplace was doing enough to support their menstrual health needs.
(Action Aid, 2022)

34% of girls who missed school for their period cited being worried about leaking as the reason.
(Plan UK, 2021)

“We chose Grace & Green for their commitment to sustainability, with planet-friendly products that are organic with recyclable packaging. What’s not to love? Our colleagues feel comfortable knowing we are providing them with products that are good for the planet and their bodies… It is great to work with other companies that are starting conversations, squashing taboos and removing stigma”

“We are so excited to introduce Grace & Green and truly solidify the longevity of this initiative. Grace & Green provide sustainable and ethical period care for all, as well as literacy education on periods and period poverty. Their products are biodegradable and come in recyclable packaging, which is a huge step towards a more sustainable future for the project! It has been one of the most accessed cost of living initiatives on campus.”

“We have received amazing feedback from colleagues across the business about having period products available when they need them most. It provides a sense that the business really cares about all employees and by using Grace & Green, who provide eco-friendly products, shows a commitment to our sustainability agenda too.”

“We started working with Grace & Green on a period poverty campaign across our campuses, which provides free products for those in need and discounted products for those looking to make more sustainable choices. Initially, I chose them because of their commitments to environmental initiatives, gender inclusivity and fair pricing – but I’ve also become so appreciative of their flexibility, friendliness and their really personalised services!”

“We joined the Grace & Green’s Period Dignity scheme to provide our team with sustainable, certified organic sanitary products. These products are made with high-quality ingredients and are free of harmful chemicals. They’re also biodegradable and compostable, which helps to support Go Green’s sustainability goals whilst ensuring the comfort and well-being of our employees.”

“Aware of the traditional reputation of the wine industry, Berry Bros. & Rudd is keen to promote inclusivity and equality in our company and the wider wine and spirits trade. Through our partnership with Grace & Green, we provide ethical, organic and plastic-free period products to all our staff and work to remove any stigma around periods through taboo-breaking education.”

“At Specsavers we believe sanitary products are just as essential as toilet paper or soap in our bathrooms. That’s why we have introduced free emergency use sanitary products in our UK and Guernsey support offices. We’ve chosen to partner with Grace & Green as their products are 100% organic, plastic free, non-toxic and vegan.”
